What data we process and why
Bookings. When you book online, by phone or on WhatsApp, we process your name, phone number, email, date, number of guests and, if you tell us, any allergies or intolerances, solely to manage your booking and adapt our service. Legal basis: performance of the booking you request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and, for allergy information, your explicit consent when you share it (Art. 9.2.a GDPR).
Enquiries. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we use your details to reply. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering your request.
Statistics and advertising. Only if you accept them in the cookie banner, we measure site usage in aggregate with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics and, if you accept marketing cookies, we measure the performance of our Google Ads (conversions and remarketing). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookie policy.
Booking platform
Online bookings are handled by DISH Reservation (DISH Digital Solutions GmbH), acting as data processor. Its privacy policy is available in the booking form.
Retention
We keep booking data for as long as needed to manage the booking and then for the periods required by law. Enquiry data is deleted once it is no longer needed to answer you.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. Our service providers (booking platform, web hosting, and Google if you accept statistics cookies) only access the data they need, with GDPR safeguards; some may process data outside the European Economic Area with appropriate safeguards.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to restaurantemadevillajoyosa@gmail.com. If you believe your request has not been handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
